Get your business found by customers - before they find your competitor.

Be Discovered. Everywhere.

Whether customers are typing into Google, talking to Siri, or asking ChatGPT for a recommendation, your business needs to be the answer. I help owner-led businesses in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts get found — on search, maps, and AI.

Search has changed. The work behind it hasn't. Since 1997, I've turned search visibility into phone calls, form fills, and revenue for micro and small businesses — owner to owner, because I've sat in your chair.

Recipient of the 2025 Rhode Island Tech10 Award (the first SEO/digital marketing professional honored) and trusted by manufacturers, contractors, law firms, restaurants, non-profits, and healthcare businesses across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Rhode Island's Only Search & Squarespace Studio Built Exclusively for Small Business

I built this studio for owner-led, growth-minded businesses — whether you run a 100-person manufacturing floor, a three-person law practice, or you’re going it alone - your visibility matters equally. I work owner-to-owner because I've sat in your chair and understand the budgeting that comes with real growth.

I work with manufacturers, contractors, healthcare practices, law firms, nonprofits, engineers, restaurants, and main-street businesses across Rhode Island and SE Massachusetts. See more →

Where You Start Depends on Where You Are

Most businesses I talk to land in one of two starting points:

1️⃣You rank on Google Search. You're invisible on ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini.

Your phone still rings from Google, but your competitor's name shows up in AI answers where yours doesn't. You're not overlooked — you're filtered out. Here's how I close that gap:

  • Audit how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews currently describe (or fail to describe) your business

  • Translate your site so AI actually recommends you, not a competitor. We structure your information so that when ChatGPT or Gemini needs to recommend a local expert, your business is the clear, citable authority

  • Track which prompts surface you, which surface a competitor, and what to do about it

2️⃣ You're not getting found anywhere — not Google, not Bing, not AI.

We start at the foundation. Rankings without the technical and local work underneath them are rented, not owned. Here's how that engagement starts:

  • Remove the hidden digital roadblocks. We fix the behind-the-scenes errors that are currently preventing search engines and AI assistants from reading and recommending your website.

  • Hand-curated citations and local listings (Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Yelp, industry citation directories that fit your trade)

  • Page-level content work on your highest-value pages, in the voice of your business, not the voice of a content mill

  • Reports that connect the technical fixes and local listings back to actual leads — not just rankings that look good but don't ring the phone

Same engagement. Different starting point depending on where the work is needed most.

The "Ten Blue Links" Era Is Over

Ten Blue Links - Farewell Tour - AI generated concert for dramatic effiect

Here's where I work, because here's where your customers are:

  • Traditional search engines: Google and Bing still drive a majority of the click-based traffic. They're the foundation, not the ceiling.

  • AI assistants and answer engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude increasingly answer the questions your prospects used to type into Google. If AI doesn't know enough about your business to recommend you there, you're not in the conversation.

  • Voice search: Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant pull short, authoritative answers straight from your website and Google Business Profile — often without ever sending the searcher to your site at all.

  • Maps and navigation: Google Maps and Apple Maps are how a Bristol homeowner picks a roofer and how a Newport tourist picks a restaurant. Your profile, your reviews, and your photos do the selling before you ever pick up the phone.

  • Local citations and directories: Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Yelp, and the industry directories specific to your trade. These are the receipts AI and search engines check before recommending you.

  • Don't write off Bing: Its 10% search market share sounds small, but Bing is the back-end engine powering ChatGPT, Copilot, and several AI tools your customers already use. Bing also runs its own ranking criteria, separate from Google. In most AI-visibility audits I run, the underlying issue is an SEO issue, not an AI one.

Most Rhode Island businesses I audit are visible in only two of those six of those places. Sometimes three.

Your customer in Cranston isn't scrolling through ten blue Google links anymore. They're asking ChatGPT to recommend a contractor, checking Google Maps before they type your business name, or reading reviews on their phone in a parking lot.

By the time they reach your website, they've often already decided — and sometimes they choose your competitor simply because that's whose name ChatGPT mentioned first.

Search has fragmented. Your strategy has to follow it.

The Omni Strategy: Search Everywhere Optimization (SEvO)

Search Engine Land said it clearly in May 2026: Search Everywhere Optimization (SEvO) is the umbrella — the full discipline of getting your business found everywhere a customer looks. Underneath it are two layers: SEO, the foundation, and AI search optimization, built directly on top of it. Local SEO isn't a separate category — it's that same SEO and AI work applied through a local lens: the towns you serve, the customers searching nearby, and the trust signals that matter in your specific market. Same audit, same monthly investment, same person doing the work — what changes is which layer needs attention this month.

🔎Organic Search Visibility

This is the behind-the-scenes work that makes your website easy for Google, Bing, and real customers to read and understand — the technical fixes, page content, and site structure most competitors skip. Get this right and everything above it has something to work with. Skip it, and everything else is built on sand.

🤖AI Search Optimization

This is the work that helps ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews describe your business accurately and recommend you by name. In nearly every AI-visibility audit I run, the real problem underneath is an SEO problem. Fix that foundation, and the AI layer starts working on its own.

📍Local SEO

This is the same SEO and AI work, focused on where your customers actually are — an accurate, complete business listing everywhere they look (Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, Yelp, and the directories specific to your trade), plus reviews and reputation. It's what gets a Pawtucket manufacturer or a Rumford restaurant found by the buyer who's ready to call.

Now Offering Squarespace Website Design
Built to Be Found, Not Just Built to Look Beautiful

A beautiful site that can’t be found is an expensive brochure. Most websites lose visibility the moment they launch because SEO was an afterthought, not a blueprint. We build it in the opposite order: search-first from day one, so your new site starts generating calls and leads instead of just compliments.

This isn't a solo effort. Two of us are Rhode Island Tech10 Award recipients. Two hold Squarespace Circle Silver status, and all three of us build exclusively in Squarespace — the platform we believe is the best fit for most small businesses. Two have delivered national-brand-caliber creative work, and every one of us owns and runs a small business.

Already on WordPress? We're not WordPress haters — we have deep hands-on experience optimizing WordPress sites, and we'll tell you honestly if staying put makes more sense than switching. We just won't build a new site on it.

Same promise, same standard as everything else here: no junior staff, no account managers, no interns — you work directly with the people doing the work.

See how we build websites → Squarespace builds start at $3,000 for up to a 6-page site.

The Omni Difference

Omni Search Labs is a Rhode Island SEO company built as a studio, not an agency. I speak with every business that reaches out, and I only take on the ones where there's a real fit. Your strategy is built with me and delivered by me, not handed down a chain of account managers. I own the work - because I'm the one doing it.

Vs. Web Design & Marketing Firms

Most web agencies lead with design, with SEO an add-on bolted onto a website proposal. I work in the exact opposite direction, whether I'm auditing your existing site or building a new one with my team. I look at your site strictly through the lens of business growth. Will this increase your online visibility? Make the phone ring? Increase form submissions? Drive revenue? Building from the end goal first gives everyone a better experience.

Vs. DIY Tools & Plugins

Audit tools are good at flagging what's broken. They don't tell you what to do about it, what to fix first, or why any of it matters for your business in your trade. A tool gives you a list. I give you a plan, the priorities, and the actual hands-on work to execute it. The hidden cost of DIY is the year you spend making edits, and the trust you have in a web plugin while your competitor is taking the calls and making sales.

Vs. Large Agencies

At a large agency, a business your size gets handed to a junior account manager and slotted into a Good/Better/Best package. At Omni Search Labs, you work directly with the person doing the work. Someone who has built strategies for Rhode Island and Bristol County businesses for nearly thirty years, who knows your market, and who cares how you're doing next year and the year after that. Smaller studio. Deeper service. Single point of contact for sales, support, billing, and the actual work.

Vs. Traditional SEO Providers

Most SEO providers will optimize for your Google rankings and call it a win. I care whether you're actually getting found and driving revenue across Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Apple Maps, voice search, and the industry directories your customers actually use. And unlike most providers, I don't need to be your website's developer or host to do this work — I optimize sites I didn't build, on any platform, with no migration or hosting change required. Same engagement. Wider surface area. Real leads, not vanity rankings and KPIs.

The Studio Difference: A Specialist, Not a Generalist

I've been doing this work since 1997 — the year the term SEO was coined, before Google and Bing were even companies. The industry keeps inventing new labels for the work, but the fundamentals haven’t changed. Those fundamentals are usually the first things broken on the sites I audit, and the first things I fix. They're unglamorous, easy for other audits to gloss over, and they only surface with a manual, page-by-page review — but fixing them has a real, measurable impact.

I have walked in your shoes as a fellow business owner. Over my career, I have founded and grown multiple companies. In 2022, I successfully sold my previous agency, Sidewalk Branding Co., in a singular acquisition to a regional buyer. Once my transition period concluded, I founded Omni Search Labs in late 2025. I built this studio rather than a traditional agency to focus exclusively on what I love: working directly with owner-led businesses in Rhode Island and Bristol County to turn search visibility into real revenue. When we work together, you get me, and my decades of hands-on experience to put to work for your business.

A few differentiating credentials about me:

Why a studio and not an agency:

I built Omni Search Labs around how I actually want to work with clients, not how the industry says agencies are supposed to scale. That means I talk to every business that reaches out personally. I take on the engagements where I see a real fit, and I tell you directly when I don't. And I’ll tell you what you need to know, not what closes a deal to hit a quota. The strategy you discuss with me on the discovery call is the strategy I execute. There's no junior account manager, no ticket queue, no chain of handoffs between different teams.

You could say, OSL is the anti-agency.

Whether you’re looking for a trusted partner to silently get the work done, or a tighter engagement - you found it.
