Be Discovered. Everywhere.
SEO, AIO, and Search Everywhere Optimization (SEvO) for Rhode Island Area Businesses
Your customers aren't just Googling anymore. They're asking ChatGPT, checking Google Maps, using voice search, and reading AI summaries — often before they ever see a list of links.
Omni Search Labs (OSL) helps Rhode Island and Bristol County, MA businesses show up wherever that search happens. Since 1997, we've combined traditional SEO with AI optimization — including answer‑engine, generative‑engine, and agentic‑engine work — so you're discovered in search results, AI answers, maps, and voice, not just "ten blue links." That's Search Everywhere Optimization — SEvO — and it's how we help your business Be Discovered™ in 2026 and beyond.
Rhode Island's Only Dedicated Search Visibility Agency
Trusted by regional media, universities, and national industry outlets for nearly three decades
The “Ten Blue Links” Era is Over
Search no longer stops at a list of links. Your customers move between search engines, AI summaries, maps, voice answers, and local listings — and they're making decisions before they ever click a result.
Where your customers are actually looking:
• Search Engines: Google and Bing still drive most search traffic and remain the core of how your business is discovered online.
• AI Platforms: ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Gemini, Perplexity, and other generative engines increasingly influence which brands get suggested — and which ones don't.
• Voice Assistants: Siri and Alexa surface quick answers and local businesses without always showing a traditional results page.
• Maps & GPS: Google Maps and Apple Maps guide people directly to nearby Rhode Island and Bristol County, MA businesses.
• Local Citations: Google Business Profile, Yelp, Bing Places, and industry directories shape how search engines and AI describe — and recommend — your business.
Most Rhode Island area websites were built for the internet of 2015. We'll bring yours forward to match how people actually search in 2026 — so you're discovered wherever they're looking.
SEO is far from dead — but there's a lot more to search discovery than search engines. Rock on! 🤘
The Omni Strategy: SEO & Search Everywhere Optimization (SEvO)
🔎Organic Search Visibility
We start with technical and on‑page SEO to make sure Google and Bing can find, understand, and rank your site. That means crawlability, schema markup, content architecture, and search‑intent mapping — the work that connects your pages to the searches that actually send customers to your door.
🤖AI Optimization
We retrofit or build content so AI assistants, answer engines, generative engines, and agentic engines can understand and cite your business — not just your competitors'. That includes structured FAQs, entity‑rich copy, and schema for AI Overviews, chatbots, and tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, so your business Be Discovered inside AI‑driven answers, not just below them.
📍Local SEO
We align your business data across Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Yelp, local directories, and citations so you show up in local packs and "near me" searches. This local SEvO layer makes it easier for AI and voice assistants to choose your business for directions, calls, and bookings when nearby customers are ready to act.
The Omni Difference: Why We’re Different
Vs. Web Design & Marketing Firms
Most agencies lead with design — discovery is an afterthought. I look at your site through a different lens: can people actually find it? I don't do web design or social media, but I work closely with trusted partners who do, so you won't fall through the cracks between specialties.
Vs. National “Big Box” Agencies
At a large agency, a business your size often gets handed to a junior account manager and slotted into a package. At OSL, you work directly with me — someone who knows this market, has built strategies across a lot of different Rhode Island and Bristol County industries, and actually cares how your business does. Strategy here is built around your goals, not around what fits neatly into a Good / Better / Best menu.
Vs. Traditional SEO Providers
A lot of SEO firms will optimize your rankings and call it a win. I care about whether you're actually getting found — in Google, in AI answers, in map packs, in voice results. And the way I measure success is leads and revenue, not vanity traffic numbers.
Vs. DIY Tools & Plugins
Audit tools are great at flagging what's broken. I'm here to tell you what to actually do about it — and why it matters for your specific situation. A tool gives you a list. I give you a plan.
A Partner. Not a Vendor.
I’m not a salesperson passing myself off as a marketer. I’m a practitioner who has been in the trenches of search and digital marketing, right here in Rhode Island, for nearly three decades, well before Google, Bing, YouTube, social media, cell-phones, or the AI boom ever showed up. I’ve worked through every major shift in this space first-hand, from day one.
I didn’t learn SEO and digital marketing the easy way. I took the unconventional path of earning my stripes by bootstrapping my own companies, testing and refining strategies at my own risk and on my own dime for more than a decade before ever offering it as a service to other businesses.
That real-world pressure to pay my bills and make things work for my own P&L still shapes how I engage with clients today.
Since that first business in 1997, I’ve founded four businesses with two pivots (including OSL), exited a successful RI-based SEO agency through an acquire-to-hire in 2022, taught SEO and digital marketing at RISD college, and serve on the Technical Advisory Committee for New England Tech University. I’ve also contributed to other East Coast universities along the way. My work has been published, syndicated, cited, and quoted internationally, and I was recently honored as a 2025 Rhode Island Tech10 Award winner, the first SEO/digital marketer to receive that recognition. That mix of practitioner work, agency leadership, and teaching keeps my recommendations grounded in what actually works for real organizations.
Additionally, I volunteer as a SCORE Mentor, helping local businesses of all stages navigate the complexities of starting and growing a business.
When you hire Omni Search Labs, you're not handed off to an account manager. You get a fractional SEO director who treats your business and your bottom line like a co-owner, not a vendor.
OSL is also the only dedicated search visibility agency in the Rhode Island market. No web design. No social media. No email marketing. Search Everywhere Optimization — SEvO — and everything under it: SEO, AIO, local, technical, content, and PPC. That singular focus is what your business deserves from a search partner - and it's all we do.
“I have been working with Chris fr quite a few years now, and have watched my businesses online presence grow by leaps and bounds as a result of his work. Highly recommended, trustworthy and result oriented. I couldn't be happier I went with [him] for all my Seo and online marketing needs.”

Where Do You Start? It Depends on Where You Are.
1️⃣ Already Have SEO? Let's Add AI Optimization.
If you've put real money into SEO but you're still not showing up in ChatGPT, AI Overviews, or voice results — that's a solvable problem, and it's a great place to start. We protect what's already working and layer in the structured content and schema that AI needs to understand your business well enough to recommend it.
• Audit how AI tools currently describe your business (the results often surprise people).
• Add FAQs, entity-rich copy, and schema for AI Overviews, answer engines, and chatbots.
• Focus first on your highest-value pages: home, services, products, and location.
2️⃣ Not Showing Up on Google — or Anywhere Else? Let's Change That.
Whether you're a new business building your search presence from scratch, or an established one that's lost visibility online — this is where we start. We build your visibility foundation across traditional search and AI together, so you're not playing catch-up later.
Establish or rebuild your presence on Google, Bing, and AI platforms.
Build new or strengthen existing content and structure that search engines can rank and AI tools can cite.
Align local, maps, and citations so every platform tells the same story.
