Be Discovered. Everywhere.

Get found by the Rhode Island and Bristol County customers who are ready to buy from you, on Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, maps, and voice.

Search has changed. The work behind it hasn't. I've been turning search visibility into phone calls, form fills, and revenue for micro and small businesses since 1997, and I work owner-to-owner because I've sat in your chair.

Recipient of the 2025 Rhode Island Tech10 Award, the first SEO and digital marketing professional honored. Trusted by manufacturers in Cumberland, contractors in Seekonk, law firms in East Greenwich, restaurants from Newport to Warwick, and main street businesses everywhere.

Rhode Island's only SEO studio built exclusively for micro and small business owners

When I say, "micro and small," I mean the SBA definition, not the layperson one. Depending on your industry, the SBA considers a business small all the way up to several hundred employees. If you're owner-led and growth-minded, you're who I work with.

I work with manufacturers, contractors and trades, healthcare practices, law firms, nonprofits, engineers, restaurants, and main-street businesses across Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts

Case study: A precision manufacturer in Lincoln, RI generated $500,000 in new annual sales in their first 18 months of Managed SEO with me, hired two new FTEs, and expanded the plant. Their success is cited by NIST.gov as part of the U.S. manufacturing knowledge base. Read the full Orbetron story →

Where You Start Depends on Where You Are

SEO. AIO. GEO. AEO. The industry keeps inventing new acronyms for the same job for getting your business found by the people ready to buy from you. Wherever search happens, that's where I work. The AI side isn't a separate product or a separate invoice. It's an evolution of SEO, and it's part of doing the work right.

Most of the businesses I talk to land in one of two starting points.

1️⃣You already rank well on Google and Bing. You don't on ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini.

This is the most common scenario I'm seeing in 2026. Your site has earned its organic rankings, your phone still rings from Google, and your competitor's name keeps showing up in AI answers where yours doesn't. You're not being overlooked for AI visibility. You're being filtered out.

Here's how I close that gap inside your existing engagement:

  • Audit how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews currently describe (or fail to describe) your business

  • Restructure your highest-value pages so AI can actually parse what you sell, where, and to whom

  • Add the schema, FAQ structuring, and entity signals that make your business citable inside AI answers

  • Track which prompts surface you, which surface a competitor, and what to do about it

2️⃣ You're not getting found anywhere. Not Google. Not Bing. Not AI. Not maps.

Whether you're a new business in Cumberland or an established practice in Newport that's watched its lead flow drain over the past two years, we start at the foundation. Rankings without the technical and local work underneath them are rented, not owned.

Here's how that engagement starts:

  • Technical SEO audit and fixes, so search engines and AI tools can actually read your site

  • Hand-curated citations and local listings (Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Yelp, industry directories that fit your trade)

  • Page-level content work on your highest-value pages, in the voice of your business, not the voice of a content mill

  • Reporting that ties technical health, citation accuracy, and AI visibility back to actual leads, not vanity metrics

Same engagement. Same monthly investment. Different starting point depending on where the work is needed most.

Ten Blue Links - Farewell Tour - AI generated concert for dramatic effiect

The "Ten Blue Links" Era Is Over

Your customer in Cranston isn't scrolling through ten blue Google links anymore. They're asking ChatGPT to recommend a contractor. They're talking to Siri on the drive from Warwick. They're checking Google Maps before they ever type your business name. They're checking out your LinkedIn company profile and reading online reviews on their phone in a parking lot.

By the time they reach your website, they've already made most of the decision. Sometimes they don't reach your website at all. Sometimes they choose your competitor because that's whose name ChatGPT mentioned first.

Search has fragmented. Your visibility has to follow it.

Here's where I work, because here's where your customers are:

  • Traditional search engines. Google and Bing still drive a majority of the click-based traffic. They're the foundation, not the ceiling.

  • AI assistants and answer engines. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude increasingly answer the questions your prospects used to type into Google. If you're not citable there, you're not in the conversation.

  • Voice search. Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant pull short, authoritative answers from your website, your Google Business Profile, and your structured data. Often without sending the searcher to your site at all.

  • Maps and navigation. Google Maps and Apple Maps are how a Bristol homeowner picks a roofer and how a Newport tourist picks a restaurant. Your profile, your reviews, and your photos do the selling before you ever pick up the phone.

  • Local citations and directories. Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Yelp, and the industry directories specific to your trade. These are the receipts AI and search engines check before recommending you.

  • Don't write off Bing. Its 10% search market share sounds small, but Bing is the back-end engine powering ChatGPT, Copilot, and several AI tools your customers already use. Bing also runs its own ranking criteria, separate from Google. In most AI-visibility audits I run, the underlying issue is an SEO issue, not an AI one.

Most Rhode Island businesses I audit are visible in two of those five places. Sometimes three.

The Omni Strategy: SEO & Search Everywhere Optimization (SEvO)

SEvO is one discipline with three working surfaces. The same audit, the same monthly engagement, the same person on the other end of the email. What changes is which surface needs the most work right now.

🔎Organic Search Visibility

Technical SEO, on-page SEO, content development, internal linking, and the structural work that makes your site readable to Google and Bing. This is the foundation. Everything else compounds on top of it.

🤖AI Search Optimization

Schema, entity signals, FAQ structuring, content patterns that let ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews quote you accurately. Most AI-visibility problems trace back to gaps in the SEO foundation, so the AI work is downstream of getting the structural pieces right.

📍Local SEO

Hand-curated citations across Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, Yelp, and the industry directories that fit your trade. Reviews and reputation signals. Local schema. The work that gets a Cumberland manufacturer or a Bristol contractor found by the customer two miles away who's ready to call.

The Omni Difference

Omni Search Labs is a studio, not an agency. I speak with every business that reaches out, and I only take on the ones where there's a real fit. Your strategy is built with me and delivered by me, not handed down a chain of account managers. I own the work because I'm the one doing it.

Vs. Web Design & Marketing Firms

Most agencies lead with design, and SEO is an add-on bolted onto a website proposal. You pay for the build, and the optimization is whatever an account coordinator can fit in around the launch. I work the other direction. I look at your site through the lens of a business owner asking one question: is this making the phone ring. I partner with web designers and marketing firms when a build is needed. I don't compete with them.

Vs. DIY Tools & Plugins

Audit tools are good at flagging what's broken. They don't tell you what to do about it, what to fix first, or why any of it matters for your business in your trade. A tool gives you a list. I give you a plan, the priorities, and the actual hands-on work to execute it. The hidden cost of DIY is the year you spend in a plugin dashboard while your competitor is taking the calls.

Vs. Large Agencies

At a large agency, a business your size gets handed to a junior account manager and slotted into a Good/Better/Best package. At Omni Search Labs, you work directly with the person doing the work. Someone who has built strategies for Rhode Island and Bristol County businesses for nearly thirty years, who knows your market, and who cares how you're doing next year and the year after that. Smaller studio. Deeper service. Single point of contact for sales, support, billing, and the actual SEO.

Vs. Traditional SEO Providers

Most SEO providers will optimize your Google rankings and call it a win. I care whether you're actually getting found and driving revenue across Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Apple Maps, Yelp, voice search, and the industry directories your customers actually use. Same engagement. Wider surface area. Real leads, not vanity rankings.

The Studio Difference: A Specialist, Not a Generalist

I've been doing this work since 1997, the year the term SEO was coined. The labels keep changing. The fundamentals don't.

I've founded four companies, sold one (Sidewalk Branding Co. sold one to a regional buyer in 2022, and built Omni Search Labs in October 2025 to focus exclusively on the work I love: turning search into revenue for owner-led businesses in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts.

A few credentials worth knowing:

  • 2025 Rhode Island Tech10 Award, the first SEO professional honored

  • SCORE RI Subject Matter Expert for SEO and digital marketing

  • Curriculum advisor, New England Tech University web development program

  • Developed curriculum and taught SEO at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)

  • Cited by NIST.gov for SEO work that drove $500K in new annual sales for a RI manufacturer

Why a studio and not an agency:

I built Omni Search Labs around how I actually want to work with clients, not how the industry says agencies are supposed to scale. That means I talk to every business that reaches out personally. I take on the engagements where I see a real fit, and I tell you directly when I don't. And I’ll tell you what you need to know, not what closes a deal to hit my quota. The strategy you discuss with me on the discovery call is the strategy I execute. There's no junior account manager, no ticket queue, no chain of handoffs between sales and delivery. You could say, my studio is the anti-agency approach.

When you hire Omni Search Labs, you hire me. Twenty-nine years of doing this work in one chair, your chair, on your business.

"Chris explained the mechanics of SEO and then cleaned up a number of problems I didn't know I had... and 95% [of new clients] indicate that it was through a Google search where they used the keywords that Chris and I set up. The service isn't cheap but it was and will continue to be, worth it."

RP, Structural Engineer, Rhode Island

"Before I hired Chris, I had a variety of providers with pitiful SEO results. I had troubles communicating with those providers and getting straight answers. Chris changed all that."

JK – Rhode Island - Attorney

"He's incredibly professional & the most educated person I could find on SEO practices. I've been using his services for several of my marketing clients. You make my clients happy and that makes me happy. Thank You"

  • SEvO is SEO done across every surface where your customers now look for businesses, not just Google's organic results. That includes Google and Bing organic, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Apple Maps, Google Maps, voice search, and the local citation and review platforms specific to your industry. The strategy is one discipline. The visibility is everywhere your customer is.

  • Same fundamentals, wider surface area. Traditional SEO targets Google's ten blue links. SEvO targets every place where buyers are getting answers about your business, including platforms that didn't exist five years ago. If you have a current SEO engagement that only reports on Google rankings, you're paying for half a strategy.

  • No. The AI work is part of doing SEO correctly in 2026. I do not sell it as a separate service tier or upcharge. Any agency framing AEO, GEO, or AIO as a separate paid product is selling you a rebrand of work that should already be in your engagement.

  • Micro and small businesses, using the SBA definition (which depending on your industry can include companies with several hundred employees and tens of millions in revenue). In practice, most of my clients are owner-led businesses doing $300K or more in annual revenue. I'm not a fit for enterprise companies, and I'll tell you directly on the discovery call if I'm not the right fit for yours either.

  • No. I work with three starting points: businesses that have never done SEO, businesses that have done it before and watched results fade, and businesses that rank well on Google but are invisible in AI search. The starting point changes the first 90 days of the engagement. It doesn't change the price or the structure.

  • There is no minimum project cost and no minimum PPC ad budget. Engagements range from short-term technical projects to ongoing Managed SEvO retainers. Payment terms are flexible, billing is transparent, and you'll see exactly what you're paying for every month. I'll quote you on the discovery call after I understand the work, not before.

  • Teamwork for project management, scheduled check-ins, and a single point of contact (me) for sales, support, billing, and the actual work. No tickets. No Slack channels you'll forget exist by week three.

FAQ

Clarity Costs Nothing. Confusion Costs Everything.

Book a 15-minute SEvO Discovery Call. I'll ask things like what you offer, who you sell it to, where you operate, and what you've already tried. You'll get honest answers, a sense of where the gaps are, and a clear next step. If we're a fit, we keep talking. If we're not, I'll try to point you to someone who is.

No pressure. No jargon. No invoice on the other side of the conversation.

Are You a Web Designer, Developer, or Freelance Marketer?

Your clients are already asking about SEO and AI search. Most web designers and marketers I talk to want to keep that conversation in-house but don't have the time, the staffing, or the appetite to stay current on every algorithm and AI platform change.

Omni Search Labs has a referral and white-label partner program built for exactly that. You keep the client relationship and the trust you've built. I deliver the SEvO work behind the scenes. You earn recurring commission on the engagement. Your client gets a specialist on the work without you having to become one. Learn About the Partner Program →
